How to care for an Alocasia Zebrina

The Alocasia Zebrina is a beautiful tropical plant. Its large leaves really stand out, but also its zebra-like stems are beautiful. It's not the easiest plant to take care of though and it will drop some leaves, but this is nothing to worry about. If you take good care of this plant, it'll only drop its old leaves to make space for large new leaves.

A simple trick to help grow your Alocasia Zebrina straight up, instead of towards 1 side is to rotate your plant 90 degreess once per week. This is slow enough for your plant to get the proper amount of lighting on all sides and also allows your plant to grow evenly on all sides.

This variety is on my wish list!! Harder to find in my area than the green or even black. Do you leave indoors year round or put outside for summer?
