My Philodendron Birkin is growing a few new leaves! 
It’s sitting in a northern facing windowsill above a radiator. Apparently the lack of humidity is no problem for the Philodendron Birkin! 
So if you have this plant and you’re not seeing any new growth, even in the winter, you might consider putting it in a northern facing windowsill, close to a radiator
